Graphite composite gaskets, also known as reinforced graphite gaskets or high-strength graphite gaskets, are punched or cut from reinforced graphite sheets. They offer excellent corrosion resistance, resistance to high and low temperatures, good compression resilience, and high strength. Common inner-layer reinforcing materials for reinforced graphite gaskets include SS304, SS316 or tinplate, with a thickness of 0.1~0.127mm. The reinforcement forms include punched plate reinforcement, mesh plate reinforcement, and flat plate reinforcement. The commonly used material is 304 reinforced graphite.

Metal Core Reinforcement: An internal insert of SS304/SS316 foil or tanged (perforated) metal plate significantly enhances the gasket's anti-blowout capability and mechanical handling strength.
Extreme Temperature Range: Capable of withstanding up to $3000^\circ C$ in non-oxidizing atmospheres and remaining stable up to $450^\circ C$ in oxidizing environments—far surpassing standard rubber gaskets.
Universal Chemical Resistance: Resistant to most chemical media (pH 0-14), except for strong oxidizing acids, making it a "universal" sealer for the petrochemical and power industries.
