Pure PTFE packing is woven from pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fibers without any treatment with PTFE emulsion or lubricating grease. Thanks to its solid braided structure, it boasts excellent flexibility and adjustability, enabling a perfect fit with shafts and stuffing boxes. It features outstanding corrosion resistance, good self-lubrication and anti-adhesion properties, and is therefore recommended for use in contamination-free operating environments such as the chemical and food industries. It is also suitable for all chemical media except soluble alkali metals. Pure PTFE packing rings can be molded according to customer requirements.
