Anhui LiLuan Technology, with an annual output exceeding 50,000 tons, completed loading a 200CBM full-container-load (FCL) shipment of custom-cut rock wool board destined for Korea on September 9, 2026. The client, a repeat buyer since 2024, has shifted progressively more of its dimensional processing to the factory with each successive order — reflecting a broader sourcing shift, as overseas distributors and project contractors increasingly place made-to-order specifications directly at the factory level rather than cutting standard slabs on site.

One Container, Multiple Specifications

The Korean client, an insulation distributor and project supplier serving mechanical and industrial installations, combined several board configurations in a single FCL. Standard 1200mm × 600mm boards ship alongside non-standard dimensions taken from project drawings, including narrow strips for pipework cladding and large-format panels for equipment casing. Thicknesses run from 40mm to 100mm, with densities of 60kg/m³, 80kg/m³, 100kg/m³, and 120kg/m³ allocated by application point. All boards deliver a thermal conductivity of ≤0.039W/(m·K) at 25°C and are rated A1 non-combustible, with a melting point above 1000°C. Part of the order was supplied with factory-laminated aluminum foil facing; glass tissue, black glass veil, and water-repellent grades are also available.

Customization at the Core of the Order

What distinguishes this consignment is not its volume but its configuration. Before production began, the client submitted a complete cutting list derived from its installation drawings — more than a dozen distinct dimensions, each paired with a specified thickness and density. LiLuan's production team converted the list into CNC cutting programs and held dimensional tolerances within ±2mm, so boards reach the site ready to install without further trimming.

Factory-level cutting removes problems buyers typically absorb on site: inconsistent edges from manual cutting, offcut losses, airborne dust during processing, and the labor time required to measure and trim every board. Moving that work to the production line turns these costs into a predictable per-piece price.

For this shipment, every bundle was marked with its dimensions and density in both English and Korean, and the loading plan grouped bundles by installation zone to cut sorting time at the destination warehouse.

Packaging Built Around the Buyer

Packaging followed a bespoke protocol agreed with the client during sampling. Boards are wrapped in printed PE shrink film carrying the client's own branding, turning the consignment into private-label stock ready for immediate distribution. Edge protectors and moisture-barrier wrapping protect all bundles against condensation during the sea voyage, and export pallets comply with ISPM-15 heat-treatment requirements. Container space was planned before production to make full use of the 200CBM capacity, and photographic loading records were shared with the client before the containers were sealed.

From Cutting List to Loading in About Two Weeks

The full cycle — specification confirmation, sample approval, production, cutting, packaging, and FCL loading — was completed in approximately two weeks. That pace rests on LiLuan's vertically integrated manufacturing capability, spanning raw material processing, fiber spinning, board forming, curing, cutting, and packaging on one site, so custom orders enter the production schedule directly. Quality control runs in parallel: each batch is lab-sampled for density, thickness, and dimensional accuracy, and batch records are retained so that repeat orders match the original specification. Buyers qualifying a new supplier can request free samples, pre-production samples cut to project dimensions, and third-party pre-shipment inspection through SGS, BV, or TÜV.

Certified for International Markets

LiLuan Technology maintains CE marking under EN 13162 for thermal insulation products, ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and SGS fire-retardant test reports. Declarations of performance are issued per product grade, and test documentation accompanies each order, supporting customs clearance and project submittals in Korea, Japan, ASEAN member states, and beyond.

Custom Orders from Trial Lots to Long-Term Programs

Beyond Korea, LiLuan has supplied rock wool board and mineral wool insulation to distributors, OEM fabricators, and project contractors in more than ten countries across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and South America. Repeat business has been built less on one-off pricing than on consistency — the same density, tolerances, and packaging standard maintained across successive shipments. The company accepts customized orders at nearly any scale, from single-pallet trial lots to recurring monthly FCL programs with mixed specifications consolidated into one container. Buyers with a cutting list, a project drawing, or simply a target specification are welcome to contact the LiLuan export team for a quotation, lead-time confirmation, and samples.
